This spell to make it snow works best during winter and can take up to 2 weeks to happen. This spell can work even earlier and as soon as the next day with proper concentration! If you meditate daily and can manifest the things you want most in life already with ease then this is the perfect spell to try throughout the winter season to elevate your power. This spell is so magickal to use during the yule tide season and I think its because we associate the yule with snow that it can work in places like California or Florida. I love this spell and have been using this same spell to make it snow since November of 2002.

Spell to Make it Snow

What You Need:

• Rosemary Oil
• White Candle
• Vanilla Incense
• 3 Tea Lights

Take the oil and use it to charge the candle. Light the candle and the incense and place them both onto you wiccan altar. You must then do the charge of the Goddess. After you do the charge of the goddess then sit in front of your altar with your eyes closed. Sit in silence for awhile with your eyes closed and meditating. Start to chant the following. ‘Make it white, make it snow, make it right, and beautiful as a doe. Make it snow, make it snow.’ Repeat this chant until you are sure it will happen soon. Let the candles and tea lights burn all the way down.

This spell has worked for me almost every single time I have done it. Sometimes I add things like a mirror placed onto the altar and some rose incense as well to enhance the mood for the spell. This is a simple love spell requiring a very small amount of supplies. Try this spell any day during the first week of December but try to find a good corresponding moon phase.

Items needed:

• 2 white candles
• a pinch of sugar
• parchment paper
• writing utensil

1. Take the time to meditate and cleanse yourself with a shower or bath. Spend sometime visualizing you wishes for this month. Use happy, gleeful thoughts and create vivid memories for whats ‘already happened’ in the month ahead.
2. Light the candles and give thanks to the Universe or your Goddess/Gods in whichever manner you deem appropriate.
3. Spend some time to bask in the glow of the candle light and raise your energies.
4. Write down some of the things you wish for the upcoming month. Write down your wishes exactly as you see them happening. With each wish you write, see it coming true and feel the feelings you will feel as it comes true. For more advanced witches you can also include the sounds and smells you will encounter as your wish comes true.
5. Fold the paper and write on the top ‘so mote it be’. Place the folded piece of paper between the candles.
6. Place the pinch of sugar over the paper in a small dish, as you do say aloud ‘So mote it be’.
7. Light the candles every day and visualize your wishes coming true.

I love this spell and I myself am so excited to try it tonight! Spells like these are my favorite because they use the power of manifestation. You can change this spell to suit/fit your needs and element if it is not listed. In order to do the water element version of this spell, simply take the leaves to a stream, river or source of naturally flowing water. Place the leaves in the water and as you release them say these words or something similar;

You can change this spell for your corresponding elements. Just use your brain and come up with a way to make this spell your own, working with the element of you.

This spell is best done during a time of drought. Calling upon the Celtic water deity Boann to shed her tears and bring forth rain.

What You’ll Need

• a cup of water
• a lava stone
• hazel

Go outside with your items and look to the sky. Hold the lava stone in the palm of your dominant or power hand. If you are left handed use your left hand if you are right handed use your right hand.

NOTE: In rare occasions your power hand might be the opposite hand you write with. Do what feels the most comfortable to you.

While meditating silently, call upon the sky, water, air, and clouds to bring rain to you. Hold the lava stone up as an offering and chant the following:

Boann! The Time is Now! Release your tears, let them fall, end this drought Now!

Chant this until you notice the wind picking up. When the wind is strong enough take a pinch of the hazel and throw it to the wind. Leave rest of the hazel in a small dish or container as a offering for the powerful water Goddess Boann and thank her for the rain. Once you thank Boann release the wish of rain to the universe and delve upon it no longer! The rain should come immeditately after thanking her but may only last for a few moments. If the rain doesn’t come immediately just leave the offering and let it go.

On the night of the full moon go outside. Find an area where you can capture the moonlight in the water and mirror. When you find your spot place the glass bowl filled with spring water with the mirror in the center. Light the blue candle and meditate on the water.

“Water and I are one indeed; the power increases as I need

Water Ran I ask of thee; lend your miraculous power to me”

In Norse mythology, Ran is the water goddess of the sea. You can used another Deity if you please. After you have said the above take the candle and let 7 drops of the blue candle wax fall into the water. As each drop falls and ripples with intense concentration repeat “Water and I are now one”.

Take the water and the bowl and practice daily to manipulation your energies to control the water. You shouldn’t change the water as it is now enchanted. When practicing you should use your concentration and silently chant “Water and I are now one”.

This spell should be done on the night of the Imbolc. Imbolc is a fire festival and it is used to mark the beginning of spring. On the night of imbloc take your supplies and at 3 am start this ritual.

What You’ll Need:

• one red candle
• one yellow candle
• one orange candle
• oak chips
• fire proof dish or receptacle
• wooden matches
• protection oil
• drums (for raising energy)
• Fire Mix (1/4 cayenne pepper 1/4 salt 1/4 sage 1 drop sandal wood oil)

Anoint your candles with the protection oil and place them in a circle on your altar. Arrange the candles from yellow to red. Place the fire dish in the center of the circle with the oak chips in the dish. Light the candles and repeat the following while beating your drums;

“Ancient wise one I call upon you

Caca so great lend me your energy

Fire is me and I am Fire

This is now done”

Throw in the fire mix and stare into the flames. When you feel one with the flame try to move it with your mind. The flame may flicker or flinch you should know if it was done by you as you send bursts of energy. Make sure there is no draft in the room and this spell is best done in complete darkness.

While it is possible to work with the elements its never really possible to control them. There are certain laws of the universe that bind certain items in place. You won’t be able to make it 101 degrees in the middle of winter. You won’t be able to make it snow in June. You will be able to work with nature and call upon the elements. This spell was sent in by April M. Here is what April says about her spell.

I want to send in my spell to control the elements. My friends and I have had great success with it but we are still learning. I can call powerful winds on command and they come around 65 percent of the time. It had a lot to do with your element if it will obey or not. My friend can make it rain about 35 percent of the time and my boyfriend can make it rain 43 percent of the time. You only have to do the spell once, but you have to focus your mind to call the elements each time you want them.

What You’ll Need:

• a white candle
• Sunday night
• a feather

Cast you circle as you normally would. Light the candle and concentrate on the feather. As you concentrate on the repeat the incantation “Move by Wind“.  You need completely focus as you try to move the object by when. Don’t concentrate on levitating the feather. That is not the correct type of energy manipulation. What you want do is focus on calling the wind to move the feather. This spell is best done in a closed off area free of any wind drafts.

People have been known to snuff out their own candles with their minds! Don’t! Focus on moving the feather if you affect the flame of the candle then you are misdirecting your energy.

You can also can also practice this method outside. Find a quiet place outside and focus on calling the wind to you. It is harder to distinguish from what you are doing and what is coming naturally. During this meditation the goal is o become one with the wind.

You can practice controlling the wind by lighting your candle and trying to snuff it out with your mind. Or practice with the feather. You don’t have to light the candle  every time you do this spell.
